Forensic anthropology in the Real World by Professor Dame Sue Black, OBE, DBE at the University of Cumbria on 29 October 2019 from 17.30 to 20.00 hours.

Prof Dame Sue Black is the UK’s leading forensic anthropologist. In this lecture she will talk through some of her casework that spans from murder investigations through to international war crimes investigations.

 

Sue is Pro-Vice Chancellor of Lancaster University, President of the Royal Anthropological Institute and Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. She was awarded an OBE and a DBE for her services to forensic anthropology and holds two police commendations for her assistance to investigative authorities.
