Luke Martin MBCI, MICPEM, MInstLM
Luke runs a specialist consultancy providing detailed threat analysis, protective security advice, incident management and resilience advice through to policy development within the fields of Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Emergency Preparedness, Incident Response, Leadership Development and Enterprise Risk Management. In this capacity, he has delivered strategic consultancy advice, reports and training to numerous NHS, Private and Public Sector organisations. Luke has delivered a range of recommendations to strategic sites at risk due to a range of threat and loss scenarios. He has also worked with the National Crime Agency, and NHS England providing strategic advice in relation to national threats within the United Kingdom and Abroad.
Luke has been involved in managing the NHS at a strategic level, during times of significant national pressures; supporting Executive Directors and leading the tactical response to headline incidents such as the East of England Ambulance Service failure; and the Ebola outbreak in West Africa and the subsequent return of service personnel to the United Kingdom. He also conducted post incident reviews and audits to Central Government and Private Healthcare organisations following the Manchester Arena attacks, the London and Westminster Bridge attacks, and advised international Emergency Medical Service providers in relation to the Human Factors associated with Incident Response and Recovery.
He is also a Certified Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI) and a Member of the Institute of Leadership Management (MInstLM).
